I really cant imagine that you could obtain the inner workings yourself cheaper than the commercially available ones complete.

Again, all of these solar light kits are really cheap and I doubt that you can make one on your own for any cheaper.

   I really can't imagine that you could obtain the inner workings yourself cheaper than the commercially available ones complete.

   If I was inclined to make a unique light, I would buy them in bulk and cannibalize the parts I needed.
