I want to make a wind turbine at home. I want to know how much this would cost? I do not want one of those massive things you see at wind farms. I just want to make a small wind turbine to power things such as an outside fridge and some lighting.

   If you dont want to buy one, build one exactly like a farm windmill. If I were you, I would go with somthing solar.

   Technically yes…..possible to make if you know the what it requires to convert the wind energy to electrical energy….but it may not match your power requirements….as stated in your query. Make sure that you use the calculator on this site so that you know how much power the wind mill needs to generate before you buy one.
