Global Kinetic Technology Canada is a start up clean energy company. It's first project is to build a commercial small wind turbine generator prototype in the 1.5 -3.5 kW range using the SEMA technology from GKT USA under an exclusive agreement for Canadian market.

I will need $100,000.00 US for 10% of the company.

is there any websites that tell you how to build a mini windturbine that can generate energy? Like it has to have blades and it has to generate electricity. I have copper wires and magnets, but how do you actually build a wind turbine powered by [obviously] wind to actually MAKE the energy? o_O please help! x.x

Since you're dealing with a variable energy source (wind), you're best bet is to build a DC generator...

Is this a science progect?

A DC Generator is the same machine as a DC motor... So if you're building something for your home, then just use a DC motor and a simple belt an pulley to reduce the rotational resistance (or load) on the blades, so a slower wind can be used...

For a Science project...
Buid three loops of wire and seperate them 60° on the rotor of the wind mill. Place a magnet on either side. north to south
Set up "brushes" (chunks of graphite like pencil lead) on either side so that as the rotor spins with the wind, the same side is going to the same terminal + or - no matter which side of the coil it is.

Have fun with it...
