How To Buy Solar Panels Online
January 9th, 2010
Our goal is to show you how to buy solar panels online at the cheapest prices. But before you do that, you need to know how many solar panels you need to buy or build.
Your Home's Power Consumption
When calculating how much power your home uses there is a standard unit of measurement called the kWh (kiloWatt Hour). For example, 1 kiloWatt hour is the amount of energy consumed in one hour by an appliance rated at 1 kW (kiloWatt). The calculation for this is:
Energy = Power x Time
You could figure out how much power you use from the power rating on each appliance (usually on a label near its power connector) and then adding them all up. There is a much easier way to do this by using our solar power calculator here.
How To Buy Solar Panels Online At The Cheapest Prices
The cheapest prices on solar panels both new and used can be found on EBay. When stores have extra inventory they can not sell, they often put it up on EBay. When corporations or people upgrade their solar panels they often put their old ones on EBay.
We have worked hard to provide you with a constantly updated list of any EBay auction going on with solar panels or wind generators, anywhere in the world. Enjoy!
